How we make money
Lendmira is free to use. Lenders and loan brokers pay us when we pass them a rate request, and this page explains that arrangement and its limits.

Free for you
You do not pay Lendmira anything to read our articles, use the calculators, send a rate request or subscribe to the newsletter. We will never ask you for a fee, now or after you get a loan. If someone claiming to be from Lendmira asks you for money, it is not us. Please tell us at [email protected].
Where our income comes from
When you use Check your rate and agree to be contacted, we pass your request to one or more lenders or loan brokers working with Lendmira. Those companies pay us for the requests they receive.
A few things are worth knowing about that payment:
- The amount can vary by company, loan type, loan amount and state.
- We may be paid for a request whether or not you take a loan.
- Which companies receive your request depends on which ones work with Lendmira for your type of loan and your state, and on our agreements with them. The companies that contact you are not necessarily all the options available to you, or the lowest-cost ones.
That is why it pays to compare. Our guide on how to compare loan offers shows what to look at besides the monthly payment, and you can also check rates with banks and credit unions directly.
What payment does not change
Lenders and brokers pay for rate requests, not for content. Payment does not change:
- What our articles and state pages say. Lenders do not review, approve or edit our pages. Our Editorial policy explains how we keep that separation.
- What our calculators show. The calculators use only your numbers and the published math on How the calculators work.
- The rates and ranges we quote. These come from public data and lender disclosures, not from the companies that pay us.
- Our advice on when not to borrow. If a loan is a poor fit, we say so, even though that may mean no request.
Lendmira is not a lender
We do not make loans, make credit decisions, check credit or set any rate or fee. The lenders and brokers that contact you set their own terms, and any loan is between you and the lender. Licensing and disclosures explains how to check that a company is licensed in your state.
If this changes
If we add a new source of income, such as advertising, we will update this page and label anything paid for on the page where it appears.
