Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and Lendmira when you use the site, its calculators and its forms. Please read them, especially the parts about the rate check and the limits of our liability.

Agreeing to these terms
By using lendmira.com (the “site”), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. In these terms, “Lendmira,” “we” and “us” mean the operator of the site, and “you” means anyone who uses it.
The site is meant for people in the United States. You must be at least 18 years old to send a rate request or subscribe to the newsletter.
What Lendmira does
Lendmira publishes general information about US consumer loans: how loan types work, what they typically cost at different credit levels, what state law allows and how to repay or get out of debt. The site also offers free calculators and a “Check your rate” form that passes your request to lenders and loan brokers working with Lendmira.
What Lendmira is not
Lendmira is not a lender, a loan broker of record or a loan servicer. We do not:
- make loans, approve or decline applications, or make any credit decision;
- check your credit or pull your credit report;
- take loan applications for a lender or sign loan documents;
- set the rates, fees or terms of any loan;
- receive, hold or send loan money or payments;
- act as your agent, adviser or representative in dealing with a lender, broker, collector or anyone else;
- give legal, tax, financial or credit counseling advice.
Licensing and disclosures explains what this means for licensing and how to check the companies that contact you.
Information, not advice
Our articles, state pages, calculators and emails are general education. They do not take your full situation into account and are not a recommendation to borrow, to choose a particular loan or to take any other step. Before you sign anything, read the lender’s disclosures and contract, and consider talking to a qualified professional, such as a nonprofit credit counselor or an attorney licensed in your state.
We work to keep every page accurate and dated, as our Editorial policy describes. Still, laws, rates and lender practices change, and a page may be out of date or contain an error. Check important facts with the lender or the official source before you rely on them.
Calculators
The calculators show estimates based on the numbers you enter and the method described in How the calculators work. They are not offers, quotes or loan disclosures. A lender’s real payment, APR and total cost can differ because of fees, the timing of payments, rounding and the lender’s own terms. The figures in your lender’s Truth in Lending disclosure are the ones that count.
Check your rate
What happens when you send a request
When you submit the rate check, we pass your request to one or more lenders or loan brokers working with Lendmira. Those companies decide for themselves whether to contact you and what, if anything, to offer. Any loan you take is a contract between you and that lender alone, governed by its own terms.
There is no guarantee that any company will contact you, make an offer, approve you or offer any particular rate, amount or term. The rates and ranges shown on Lendmira are examples, not offers. A lender may ask for more information and may check your credit before it makes a firm offer, and it should tell you what kind of credit check it uses.
You are never required to accept an offer or to apply. Lendmira does not charge you anything, now or later. A legitimate lender does not ask for an upfront fee by gift card, wire transfer or cryptocurrency before you get a loan. If anyone does, stop and read our guide to loan scams.
Accurate information
When you use the rate check, you agree that:
- the information you enter is true and complete, as far as you know;
- the request is for yourself, not for another person;
- the phone number and email address are yours, or you are authorized to use them, and you will tell us if they change hands.
Do not send false information or information about someone else. Doing so can lead to unwanted calls to another person, and you may be responsible for the result.
Your consent to calls, texts and emails
The consent box in the rate check is part of these terms. In short, by checking it you agree that Lendmira and lenders and loan brokers working with Lendmira may contact you about your request by phone call, text message and email at the number and address you entered, including calls and texts made with automated technology. Your consent is not a condition of getting a loan or buying anything. Message and data rates may apply.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, in any reasonable way. For example, reply STOP to a text, tell a caller to stop calling, or email [email protected] with the subject line “Stop contact.” The Privacy policy explains each option and what we do when we receive one.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we will send you our newsletter by email. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in each issue.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site for anything unlawful or fraudulent;
- send a rate request, message or sign-up that is false, automated or on someone else’s behalf without their permission;
- try to get around Turnstile or any other security measure, probe or test the site for weaknesses, or interfere with its operation;
- copy the site at scale with bots, scrapers or similar tools, except search engines indexing pages under our robots.txt rules;
- copy, republish or sell our content in a way that breaks the section below;
- upload malware or send spam through our forms.
We may block access or ignore submissions that break these rules.
Our content and trademarks
The articles, state pages, calculators, design, illustrations and the Lendmira name and logo belong to Lendmira or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read, print and share pages for your own, noncommercial use, and you may quote short passages with a link back to the page. Any other use, such as republishing whole articles, needs our written permission.
Government statutes, regulations and data we cite remain public. Links to them are for your convenience.
Your messages and feedback
If you send us a correction, suggestion or other feedback, we may use it to improve the site without paying you or crediting you. Please do not send us confidential information through the contact form. We cannot review your loan documents.
Other websites
The site links to government agencies, lenders and other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or services, and a link is not an endorsement.
Disclaimers
The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, Lendmira disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will always be available, error-free or free of harmful components. The Disclaimer page, linked at the bottom of every page, explains in more detail how to use the information on the site.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Lendmira and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, credit, data or opportunity, arising from your use of the site, your reliance on its content or calculators, or any contact, offer, loan or other dealing between you and a lender, broker or other third party. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to $100.
Some states do not allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Your responsibility
You agree to cover Lendmira’s reasonable costs, including legal fees, if a claim is brought against us because you broke these terms, for example by submitting a rate request with someone else’s phone number.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by applicable federal law. Any dispute about the site or these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you and Lendmira agree to the jurisdiction of those courts. If you live in a state whose law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live, these terms do not take that right away.
Before you file a claim, please email us. Most problems can be solved quickly.
Changes to the site and these terms
We may change, add or remove parts of the site at any time. We may also update these terms. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date above. Changes apply from that date. Your consent to be contacted about a rate request is governed by the consent wording you agreed to when you sent it.
General terms
If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. These terms, together with the Privacy policy and the consent wording you agree to in a form, are the whole agreement between you and Lendmira about the site.
