Check consolidation loan rates
Tell us about the loan and lenders working with Lendmira can show you what they offer. Lendmira doesn't check your credit, and you don't have to accept anything.
- 1 The loan: amount, purpose, credit range, ZIP.
- 2 Your contact details and consent.
- 3 Lenders contact you with options. Compare APRs before you apply.
Lendmira is not a lender, does not make credit decisions and is not paid by you. Lenders that contact you set their own rates and terms and may check your credit before making an offer. How we make money.
What the comparison counts
For each debt, the calculator repays the balance at its APR with the payment you entered, month by month, and adds up the interest. The loan is sized so that, after an origination fee taken from the proceeds, it pays every balance in full. Its cost is the interest over the term plus that fee.
Lower payment is not the same as cheaper
A consolidation loan with a long term can cut the monthly payment and still cost more in total, because you pay interest for longer. Look at both lines: the payment you can carry and the interest plus fee. If the saving comes only from a longer term, a shorter one at the same APR is usually the better deal.
Before you consolidate
- Credit card minimum payments shrink as the balance falls; this calculator holds your payment fixed, which is faster and cheaper than paying only the minimum.
- A 0% balance transfer card can beat a loan on smaller balances you can clear within the promotional period. Funditia explains balance transfers.
- Consolidation only works if the cards stay paid off. Read debt consolidation loans for the full picture.
